M. Brent Watts

M. Brent Watts is Vice President of Acquisitions at Stateside Capital. Brent’s responsibilities include building and maintaining developer and syndicator relationships, quantitative analysis of acquisition pricing, pre-acquisition due diligence and underwriting, and the execution of lower-tier property closings.  Brent is also instrumental in structuring upper tier funds both from a modeling prospective and from an asset allocation prospective.  Brent works closely with the in-house asset management team and the sales team to tailor each fund to each buyer’s needs.   Mr. Watts holds a BBA in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Alabama. He is a frequent speaker at affordable housing tax credit conferences and local colleges.

Brent enjoys playing in various local tennis leagues and tournaments.  He is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute and is a volunteer with habitat for humanity.  He is a member of the Association of Young Real Estate Professionals, the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition, the Georgia Conservancy, and the National Council of State Housing Agencies.
